This issue is a bumper 180-page all-track magazine with a review of the 2014 Aussie racing season as well as a guide for all-things track related from technical tips and tricks to coaching and product reviews and tests. Of course, Knee Down would not be complete without our famous track guides and this issue we have our seven favourite local tracks covered corner by corner.

We have Track Tech articles for you on tank grips, tuning, accessories, brakes, maintenance, tyres, screens, oils, exhausts, crash protection and even bike transporting. We also have special features on behind the scenes race stuff and plenty of glossy images from the past 12-months on track and in the pits.

Our education articles this issue are fantastic. We have stories on Stay Upright, MotoDNA, HART and California Superbike School as well as social ride day features like the Team Green Kawasaki Ride Days. A comprehensive contact list for all major ride day companies and road racing governing bodies can be found at the back of the magazine, while up the front you can read about how to start road racing or if competition is not your thing – how to start doing track days.

The classic motorcycle-racing scene is booming so this year we have decided to test some of the wild bikes from the era. We throw a leg over the Shawn Giles TBR Katana, the Mick Dibbs T-Rex Racing Harris Honda and an original TZ2505KE. For the modern racer fix we’ve gone for the ultimate test – Andrew Pitt on Tom Sykes’s factory #1 plated ZX-10R. We also race a little Kawasaki Ninja Cup 300!

For racing fans you will find comprehensive season wraps on ASBK, ASC, FX, Honda RJays St George Series, BEARS National and Club, PCRA, WA State Titles, MRRDA and Philip Island Superbike Championship.
